Hello! I’m really excited to tell you about a new class I’ll be teaching in July: Creative with your Blogger Blog. And also a little nervous, but I guess that’s what happens when you put your heart into something.. :-)
As you probably can tell, I like blogging! Love it, actually. :-) I think it can be a really meaningful way of expressing our creativity and connecting with others. This new class is all about getting the most out of your blogging and especially blogs written on the Blogger platform. I’ve used it for 8 years and it makes me both a bit sad and a bit annoyed when people say it’s not as good as other blogging platforms. ;-)
But the platform isn’t the most important thing, of course. The most important thing about blogging is you, the person writing the blog. This class is for you if you want to move forward with your blog. Maybe spruce it up a bit. Or maybe you want to dig a bit into why you blog and what you want to get out of it.
So in this class I’ll give you lots of tips and tricks for getting the most out of your Blogger blog + plus a whole lot more. We’ll talk about all sorts of things
– we will go through the main elements of a blog; what they can do for you
– what should you include on your blog, and why
– tips for taking nice photos for your blog
– tips for writing tutorials
– using social media
– increasing your readership
– prettyfying your blog
– and much more!
We’ll also talk about finding inspiration for your blog and finding a voice for your blog that is true to you. Which is very important indeed, I think!
We’ll get a little bit technical with html code and such, but it’s nothing too scary!
You will need to know the basics of blogging already, like writing a blog post and such. Whether you’re completely new to blogging or have blogged for a while, there should be something for you to bite into.
The class starts on July 4th and costs $40.00. You can read more about the class and sign up right here. If you sign up for the class before June 26th, you save $5.00 – just mention this blog post at checkout and I’ll send you a refund.
