Sequins and denim

Recycling

I don’t like throwing things away if I can find another use for them. Within reason, of course, I’m not a hoarder! ;-)

Anyway. I was clearing out my wardrobe and found a couple of tops and pairs of jeans which have passed the point where they should never be worn by anyone again. I cut up the jeans so now I have some denim fabric – I’m thinking I want to make a bag!

And the tops.. I’ve probably spent way too much time cutting off the beads and sequins; would undoubtedly have been cheaper to just buy some considering how long it took – but I just couldn’t throw them away! Especially the beads – look how many there are!

Please tell me I’m not the only one who goes to quite some length to save materials..?!

Well, you could always sell this material on ebay… but, of course, it wouldn't be as much fun! ^-^

Sequins, that's one thing I need to learn how to sew!
