As you may have gathered I love colour quite a bit..?
So this collaboration between Dulux and Unicef is just my thing. What is it? Well, you visit the Own a Colour site and pick a colour, either by searching for the exact one (if you’re a little bit geeky like me you might know the hex code for it!) or just a general name like green or pink etc. When you find your colour, you pay a small (or big) amount, starting at £1.00, for the privilege of naming the colour.
And that’s about it. Very simple. And all for very good causes, like building schools in Pakistan, bringing clean water in Ethiopia and providing immunisations in Haiti.
My colour is a lime-y green which I called ‘Spring Leaf‘. :-)
