One of my favourite things when we go to Denmark is having rundstykker for breakfast. They are crispy and light rolls, very delicious. There are lots of different kinds, my favourite one is the one at the back there which has sort of a spiral-y pattern on it. It’s called birkes. If you go to Denmark, you should try it! But don’t get it confused with a tebirkes because that’s something else, and not nearly as nice. ;-)
Random lunch. With leftovers. And rye bread. Beer for those who want it. Very Danish.
My mum’s homemade waffles. Light and crispy. So very yummy. Fighting over who gets the next batch!
