On Thursday I finally got the 2013 calendar panels! I may have done the Kermit arms flailing thing. Or I may not. That’s for me to know… ;-)
But the panels are here! I’m so happy to get them! I’d have blogged about them sooner, but Blogger isn’t working in Chrome.. boo. So I finally succumbed and now I’m posting this using IE! Dude, I’ve not used IE for years!
Anyway, without further ado – the panels are in the shop: colour outline and grey outline. There’s not a lot left of this first lot!
I’m really happy with the design – and the colours! Nomatter how nice the colours look onscreen, you can’t be 100% sure how they will look printed on fabric. But luckily they do look nice. Phew! :-)
You can do lots of things with the panels. I’ve started stitching over some of the lines and filling in a few of the shapes. And I’ve marked our wedding anniversary. ♥
Satin stitch is of course an obvious choice for filling in shapes, as I’ve started doing with the numbers below – but I think it would also look pretty cool filled in with French knots or other stitches. Maybe daisy stitches!
