Advent calendar inspiration

Advent Calendar Wrapping Idea #12

So. Wow. It’s the last day of November! Crazy. A wee reminder: if you want any fabric from Denmark, this weekend is last chance! :-) The last day to buy is overmorrow!

Since it is December tomorrow, I thought I’d link to a couple of Christmas-y things.

Last year I made an advent calendar for Tony – he mostly thought it was a bit silly, but I had fun doing it, so hey-ho. ;-) I wrapped every single pressie in a different way and posted one here on the blog every day between 1-24 December. Here’s day 12.

You can find them all here. Just in case you need some pressie wrapping inspiration. It was a challenge to myself to come up with a different one for each and only use what I had in the house. Some are quick, some are silly, some use random materials.

The other thing – and I realise that it’s kinda late with inspiration for the actual advent calendar, but here it is anyway: an advent calendar made of shirt pockets from Tony’s old work shirts! I saved those when I made a quilt from his old shirts. :-)
