Colour chopping and crochet

Making wintery soup

Thank you so much for your sweet comments on my post the other day. You really cheered me up! xo

Since I was feeling blue I thought I’d try to counter balance it with some other colours, so I made my new favourite soup. It’s so delicious and warm and perfect for winter. Anything with chickpeas is good in my book… And there’s something soothing about chopping up a bunch of vegetables..don’t you think? :-)

Crocheting a shawl for my mum

Crocheting is soothing too.. the repetitiveness of it.. This is a shawl I’m making for my mum. I did try to teach her to do it herself, but she wasn’t really getting anywhere. So I volunteered to make it for her. I’m nice like that. ;-) To be honest, it did take me a couple of tries (or four!) to learn this crocodile stitch, but I’m so glad I did. It looks really cool!

And today I also had a lovely visit with Mim. She stopped by and we had a nice chat about crafty things and, you know, the world in general. Nice to see you, Mim! xx
