Over the last few days I’ve been working on a couple of just for fun projects. They’ve been on my mind for a long long while. But ‘just for fun’ often gets put on the back burner in favour of more important things. But you know what? While I was working on this… the elements of a new project fell into place. And it was so bleedin’ obvious you’d think I’d have been able to put it together before now…
Seriously, talk about flash bulb moment. :-)
Isn’t it funny how once you stop trying so very hard, stop searching for that elusive ‘right thing’.. it falls right into your lap. I’m definitely guilty of chasing the idea, planning things to death and such. Am I alone in this?
I’ve really enjoyed working on these. Without even realising it, I think for a little while I’ve been slightly less in love with embroidery. But now I’m back, baby! Someone hire me a cleaning lady, please, so I can do embroidery all day long! :-)
Anyway, this is a pre-announcement: next week I’ll tell you more about my next online embroidery class. I’m really excited about it. And that makes me so very happy. Colourful, stitchy fun ahoy!
