My SB stitchalong progress

SBstitchalong progress
Are you taking part in the Stitched Blooms stitchalong? Don’t forget you could win a prize! :-) Of course, I can’t win a prize myself, but I’m stitchin’ along anyway. And here’s my progress so far. I got started a bit late so I haven’t done as much stitching as I’d have liked.

I wanted to do something completely different than what I usually do – to show how versatile the Stitched Blooms motifs can be. And I think I’ve definitely succeeded at that. Blackwork is not something I usually do. ;-)

I printed the motif at 200%, then transferred it to some evenweave fabric I had lying around. I outlined the different elements in a dark magenta, just because all black is a bit too much for me. I loves me some colour.

And then I started filling in each element with different blackwork patterns. I found most of them in the Ensemplario Atlantio on String Or Nothing.

If you want to stitch along too, there’s just two days left, so go go go! You can find all the details about the SB stitchalong here. I do hope you will join in! (And you don’t have to have a copy of Stitched Blooms to take part!)
