Colour and light

Floss and Wallpaper

It’s so dark here.. and rainy and windy. It feels like this winter is never going to end. If only there had been some variety, some snow. But we’ve had none of that. At all.

And the gloomy weather sometimes makes taking pictures a bit difficult. I usually have a stack of things ready to photograph when the sun makes a brief appearance. And then it’s quick-quick-quick! This time of year photos require more editing on the computer than they do in the summer.

Call me weird, but I actually (sometimes) enjoy making the photos look their best. Make them shine. I sometimes wonder if anyone would be interested in a non-scary photo editing course, especially for people who don’t have access to Photoshop.. I have more than a few tricks up my sleeve. :-)

Over the weekend there was a bit of sun so I was busy snap-snap-snapping away in the room with the most sun. Here’s a random photo I took.

Light and colours.. I crave them. I think there’s one thing that makes this winter seem darker than usual. I spend most of the day in the living room, but that faces North, so it is darker than the living room in our old flat which faced West.
