Playing with colours on my day off

Day off

The plan was to basically take this week off, because I’ve not had any time off in ages. But of course I ended up doing (some) work on Monday and Tuesday. Best laid plans and all that, eh? ;-)

Day off

Tony has Thursday and Friday off so we can finally get started on Operation Clear Out the Shed. So this morning I thought, if I’m going to have any goofing off time this week at all, today’s the day! So I dragged my sketchbooks and some acrylic paints into the conservatory and set up in the warmth. The sun was shining! Perfect! Spring is on its way.

Day off

Absolute joy. Buying a house has been a big dream for us for so long and being able to sit in that conservatory is just such an amazing thing. I won’t pretend that it’s all peachy and perfect. Things are kinda tight at the moment and there is still a lot of things that need to be done before the house is all we want it to be. But we’ll get there. :-)

I spent a couple of hours catching up on my project 365. I’ve sadly fallen way behind, but now I’ve caught up! I think the thing that makes me fall behind is the thought of taking the photos and making the collage(s) for the weekly post about this. I didn’t foresee that happening… I think I need to find a solution to this. I guess I’m lazy when it comes to some things.. ;-)

Day off

Oh and I had company… taking a nap in what’s probably the most awkward place she could have picked…
