Some things that inspired me this week – June 27

Friday June 27

The Creative Mornings talk by Kate Bingaman-Burt about rule-based making is soooo good! I am a big fan of rule-based making, although I am not very good at following through with it myself. ;-) {via Kim}

You saw how our garden looks slightly post-apocalyptic at the moment, so I’m thinking I might make some no-sew bunting like this to cheer things up a bit.

These paper birds are AH-Mah-Zing! {via Patricia}

I am not a fan of how proper credits and links often get lost on Tumblr, but this Tumblr blog (is it called a blog on Tumblr?) is really pretty.

Speaking of Creative morning talks – this one by Moby about creativity and the freedom to fail is pretty great too. Especially the Q&A at the end where he talks more about some of his own failures and how good stuff can come of failures.

All these paper flowers!

Sandbox Ocean. It’s kinda magic.

I want to do this with crayons. :-)

Happy weekend!
