I had planned on being further along with the stitching of the tropical pattern. On Saturday I realised that, yeah, the turquoise background just wasn’t working for me. It felt like it was completely messing with my colour choices, like I couldn’t see the colours properly and I wasn’t enjoying stitching it at.all.
I think I procrastinated a bit longer about this decision than I should have. I think I knew almost from the beginning that the relationship with the turquoise fabric wasn’t going to last. But you know, I really, really wanted to see how it would look. And I’m kinda stubborn sometimes…
So I started over and that feels so much better. It’s moving along a lot quicker. Hopefully, in the company of a documentary or two, I’ll have it almost done tomorrow. :-)

The name can only have 3 words in it and one of those should preferably be ‘tropical’.
