New project :: Seed stitch scarf

Mustard seed stitch scarf
I started a new knitting project! Another seed stitch project because I found out I really like the mindless of that stitch when I’m relaxing, watching TV or something.

I am not usually a big fan of yellow colours, but I got this mustard colour nail polish and I am kinda obsessed with that colour right now. It seems such a perfect autumn colour. So that was the first colour I wanted for the scarf.

But because I don’t want it to be too autumnal in the colours, I’ve paired it with two pink colours. Although they are quite close to each other, so they are a bit difficult to distinguish in the photos.

I had some dark blue, almost black, yarn left over from the Seed Stitch Wrap, so I’m using some of that for a bit of contrast here and there.

Other than that I don’t really have a plan for the scarf. Wideish blocks with narrow stripes in between. Not even sure how long I will make it. I guess I’ll just keep going until I think it’s finished. ;-)

I love the texture of seed stitch. So squishy. :-)
