Friday Links :: Christmas Play List, Tree Crop Circles, Post-Modern Quilting

Julepynt
I think this picture was taken when we last celebrated Christmas in Denmark, in 2011! The glass ornament is very old, probably over hundred years. My mum would never let us kids hang the old ornaments on the tree, too fragile for little hands!

I think the woven heart was made by my dad, many years ago, though not quite a hundred years ago! My farmor (paternal grandmother) made the beaded cone on the right. I like trees that are decorated with family memories like this. I could never go out and buy a box with a set of decorations like some people do.

Try this One Thing for Stress Free Mornings. I don’t have stressed mornings, to be honest, but I am intrigued by the idea of a pared down wardrobe. Most people wear 20% of their clothes 80% of the time, so I think most people could do a challenge like this without feeling like they were missing much. I know I certainly wear the same clothes most of the time. I might give it a go in the new year. Would you?

Let your agent be the bad guy. I don’t recall needing my agent to be the bad guy for me (thankfully!) – other than dealing with contracts so I don’t have to. Not everyone wants or needs an agent, but I’m really happy to have Agent K on my team Yes, you have to pay them a percentage of your fee but in my experience, that’s been money well spent! :-)
