Quilts at Festival of Quilts 2025

It’s over a month since the festival of Quilts so I thought I should share some of my favourite quilts. With emphasis on some because there are literally hundreds of quilts and they all merit a mention. The quilts in the post are not in any particular order or preference. Some are competition quilts, some are from the ‘joy of sharing’ category, and some are from artist galleries. Just a nice, happy quilt mix.

I made a video about my FoQ experience, which you can watch here. I share a bunch of quilts, and talk about my purchases (It’d be rude to go all that way and not buy a little bit?), and my experience of having quilts on display.

Without further ado, here is some quilt eye candy:

Quilt displayed on a white wall. The quilt is made of dark grey strips that form a grid with the vertical strips ending at a point so the whole quilt looks like a portcullis. On the horizontal sections various words are embroidered.
