Happy Autumn Equinox!

The large hoop has yellow fabric embroidered with a mandala inspired design with acorns and oak leaves.
The hoop on the right has light pink fabric, embroidered with asters flowers in three purple colours.

The embroideries for this sabbath in the Wheel of The Year stitchalong. I am really happy with how they have turned out. I am a bit surprised by my plant/colour choices here because I don’t normally go for purple, or yellow, as my first choice. But I like these.

And I very much like the acorns. I don’t know why but I just enjoy stitching them so much. :-)

Those acorns… :-)

The acorn pattern is available on its own but the asters are only available through the stitchalong.

I really do like these purple asters. Maybe it is the combination with yellow and yellow orange that makes it work for me.

It feels like the year, and this project, has just flown by. Now there are just two sabbaths left in the Wheel, Samhain and Yule. I keep wondering if I am going to do a Wheel project for next year. I don’t know. Maybe I will just do a very simple one, just for me…
