Birds and happy Seascapes

Hey, hey! These are my birds -better to have them on fabric than real ones; I can barely keep plants alive! ;-)

Bird Frames Yellow‘ on Spoonflower. I think I’ve said it before, but I really do like the yellows from Spoonflower. Reds and orange are an issue.. especially red. that’s the only negative thing I can say about using Spoonflower.

And here it is with pink background, ‘Bird Frames Pink‘. See the bird in that blue frame in the bottom right? It’s supposed to be red. And itsn’t. It is a deep orange… Any suggestions how to fix this? Bearing in mind that I do not have access to Lab colours or Pantone or anything else fancy like that..

Now, does this look familiar? It’s inspired by my Happyscape embroidery patterns, of course! :-)

Yup, I like those patterns so much I dreamed up some fabric designs too. It is called ‘Blue Seascape‘. Because most of the little images have water/beach in them.

And there’s a version with green background. Guess what that is called? Indeedy-o, ‘Green Seascape‘.

They're absolutely lovely, especially the birds! Even with the "mis-colored" orange bird (I love ORANGE). :)

Lovin' your new fabrics – especially the blue Seascape. Very sweet fabric.

Definitely linking to this one too in August!

I am so glad you are having fun with Spoonflower. I have no technical skills at all, but I am a hug fan of what they do and do so well.

    Thank you!!

giddy – I love orange, too – so it's not *that* big a problem! ;-)

    Frau Eule – Tak/Danke!!

Pam – thank you! I'm a huge fan of Spoonflower too!

Just-Do – at the moment I only have the swatches of the fabrics, which aren't very big.. so I haven't got any projects lined up for those… But hopefully, I'll have some yardage at some point! :-)

carina – i bought one of the yard 'swatches' with the hex colours on it – if you tell me what kind of red you're after, i can tell you what number to change it to…they've come out on the swatch really well.
