We had a lovely day in France, no less! UK peeps, if you’re within comfortable driving distance of Folkstone and you have Tesco vouchers you don’t know what to do with, use them to pay for the channel tunnel crossing!
We spent the morning in Boulogne-sur-Mer which is a strange mix of pretty old town (Haute ville) and somewhat dingy looking modern port city. The city is partly on a steep hill so there are some spectacular views of the sea. Well, there would have been if it hadn’t been such a grey and cloudy day!
