A couple of days ago I noticed that a clump of trees near our house was sporting white blossoms. The sun was shining this morning and so there was no good excuse for me not to take my camera and check it out.
I’m so glad I did! Blossoms like these don’t usually last long so in a couple of days it might have been too late.
Walking to the threes through the wet grass.. my feet and jeans are still a bit wet, but it’s a price I am more than willing to pay.
Despite the trees being less than 50 metres from a busy road… there was a lovely quiet among the blossoms. There was a small breeze and at times it was like a small snowstorm of petals. It felt magical. Completely removed from the hustle and bustle.
This tree hadn’t survived the recent gales completely unscathed. And yet, there is some kind of beauty in this as well…
The bees like the blossoms too.
There were lots of them milling about the blossom clouds..
This reminds me of van Gogh..
