Crocheted napkins

These were made by my paternal grandma. I have absolutely loads of them! First she made me 12 white ones, then later she made these pink ones especially for me. They even look slightly different from the other ones.

When she passed away there were lots of these napkins in different colours and noone wanted them (except for my mum), so I got a few more white ones, the purple ones in this photo and some blue ones.

We never really use napkins so they are just lying around; but I’m not going to get rid of them! I like having these things that reminds me of my grandma and all the beautiful things she made with her hands. I feel that I’m carrying on the tradition although I’m making things that are a lot different from what she made.
