I did get a wee bit emotional today, saying goodbye to people, especially my team leader and the other lady who worked on the home department. But on the whole I did manage to get through the day without blubbering.
I’ve not always been happy about working there, and it’s certainly not my dream job by any definition, but the people I worked with are really nice. I don’t think I’ve ever worked in a place where people were so welcoming and friendly.
The last month everyone’s really come together and stuck together. And that has been really nice to see – and to be a part of. Well, apart from a few people. But that comes as no surprise. ;-)
What is next, who knows. The next couple of weeks I’m going to wind down a bit, relax, spend time doing creative stuff. And visit Denmark for a few days. Looking forward to that. I need some parental hugs!
