Bunting and flowers

Happy Sunday!

Ok, so this is what I used those crochet triangles for. Did you guess that already?! Bunting, garland, call it what you will.. What else can you call it? You would not believe the trouble I’ve had trying to get some decent pictures of this. Or maybe you will?

Out flat is not very.. atmospheric and there are no pretty places in the near vicinity, so what’s a girl to do?

These pictures are taken in the in-law’s garden last weekend but even that was difficult because it was quite windy!

But that’s it. I’m making do with these images now. There is more to life than chasing the Perfect Picture. Right?! Do you do that too? Worry about taking Perfect Pictures for your blog all the time? Can’t we give ourselves a break from time to time?

Hope you like! ;-)

I’ll post the tutorial for putting the bunting together tomorrow.

Nice photos! The colors of the yarn play off the garden colors really nicely!

Sometimes I'll go forever without posting when I am not able to get the photos I want…I think I have to learn to just run with it. Some photos are ok, some are great, and when you get those perfect ones – enjoy that feeling!!

Love the crochet bunting – never seen that before!!

Love the bunting! It can be a very difficult item to photograph, your pics look great.
I love the way you have used the colours.

Very pretty bunting Carina! Your in-laws yard is the perfect setting. I never thought blogging would mean I would have to start taking pictures but I find that the most interesting blogs have great photos. I like my photos without the flash but on overcast days that presents a challenge indeed. Have a wonderful day!

Your triangle buntings are so pretty they don't need a spectacular background!

Every time you post a lovely crochet project I am tempted to start crocheting, and I REALLY can't take up another craft. You're like a little devil on my shoulder saying "c'mon, buy some yarn and a hook . . . it's easy . . . all the other crafters are doing it . . ."

I don't spend too much time on photos, but then I have never been a camera person. In fact, my relatives regularly yell at me for not taking enough pictures of the kids.

Thank you all very much for your nice-nice-nice comments! :-)

@Sandy I most definitely agree with the no-flash thing. I can't even remember when I last used a flash when I took a picture! ;-)

@beadgirl I'm… sorry? Nah, I'm really not; crochet is awesome! :-)
