Home again

We spent Christmas in Denmark. And New Year’s! It was a bit of an adventure because we drove there! Down to Folkestone, under the Channel with the Eurotunnel train, and then through France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and finally reached my parents’ home in Denmark some 16 hours later.

Driving to Denmark was pretty awesome because it meant that I could bring home more Danish goodies than when we fly – plus a few pieces from my grandfather’s home which we definitely couldn’t have taken on the plane! (The top photo in this post is one of the pieces.)

And we had the same trip to come back. Although on the way back we stayed the night in Ghent in Belgium. Which is a pretty place! I’ll show you more photos soon…

But now it’s back to work on the first issue of &Stitches!

Ghent is a pretty place indeed! I studied there for 5 years, and now had to move to Antwerp. Which isn't nearly as cosy, friendly, vintage and modern at the same time…
    Happy New Year!
