Friday Links :: Perfectly unhappy, pink crochet, Tube step map

Blake's toes
This week’s links are brought to you by Blake’s cute toes. I just want to tickle them! But Blake doesn’t like that. ;-)

As someone who loves walking around London, I think TFL’s new Tube map with step counts between tube stations (on the same line) is brilliant. I use an app on my mobile phone to track steps when walking and it’s always fun to see how many steps I’ve done during a day out in London. :-)

Ceramic dinosaurs that look like inflatable toys! The artist, Brett kern, does some really interesting work inspired by pop culture of the 80s and 90s. Check out the Hellenistic series in the Gallery to see his version of ET.

I want to sew tops and skirts and dresses for myself, but it seems pretty complicated and scary. How do you fit stuff?! But if I did brave sewing clothes, I might start with Pearl Shift Dress from Green Bee Patterns.

How to comply with the CAN-SPAM Act + stay legit from The Artist’s J.D.

Beautiful illustrations that incorporate books in clever ways. Seriously, these are gorgeous. No wonder the artist, Jungho Lee, was recently named the overall professional winner of the World Illustration Awards 2016.

Artist Olek Covers a House in Finland with Pink Crochet. More things should be covered in pink crochet! :-)

The song Little Bird, Little Bird, performed by Elizabeth Mitchell, was used in an episode of Futurama and every time I watch that episode, the song is in my head for days. So lovely. :-)
