I used to crochet all the time. It was one of the first crafts I got really into. In the past few years, I haven’t done much crochet at all. But when I saw the This Is Me shawl by Wilma Westenberg, I just had to make it! :-)
The original version uses uses yarn with a gradient from pink to grey, but I’m not that into grey so I picked another one that goes from pink to dark purple. This is the yarn I’m using, Scheepjes Whirl in Turkish Delight. (Not an affiliate link, just FYI.)

Aren’t those colours delicious? I can’t wait to make this. In fact, I’ve already done a few rows, but I’m excited to see how it hooks up. We, well mostly me, have recently started (binge, that’s definitely me) watching 30 Rock and I think this crochet project will be an excellent bingeing companion. :-D
