This is the last batch of fabrics (I think..!) for the cloud quilt I’m planning. The ones with the birds are by Heather Moore for Cloud9 fabrics and the other ones are my own design. :-)
I was planning on getting in the studio this weekend and start cutting the fabrics, but that plan has been put on hold for a wee bit. There was one heck of a storm the night between Monday and Tuesday last week and it meant that water has seeped down under the floor in my studio. It has not been made properly that floor.
On Tuesday and Wednesday it was almost like the floor was floating on water and walking on the floor boards the water would come up between them. So we’ll probably have to pull up the floor in the summer to see what’s going on below. Just another present from this house… *sigh*
So I’m anxiously waiting for the floor to dry so I can get in the studio and play with the cloud fabrics!
I think my wee cloud fabrics are rather pretty. If I do say so myself.. :-)
