It’s Christmas Eve, the big Christmas deal if you’re Danish. We’re cooking and tidying. Making Danish dishes and treats. In a couple of hours Tony’s parents will be here and we’ll sit down to a traditional (well, alomst) Danish Christmas Eve meal.
I am very much looking forward to the caramelized potatoes, it’s one of my favourite things about Chistmas. And risalamande for dessert. A type of rice pudding with warm cherry sauce. Another favourite. Especially now I make it vegan so it’s way less greasy. :-)
Dear friends, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas – and if you don’t celebrate Christmas, just veg out in front of the telly for a couple of days. Eat some junk and watch some silly movies. Maybe find time to do a bit of stitching.
xo, Carina

I love polar bears, but I do have trouble finding nice looking polar bears. I’m very picky about my polar bears. ;-)
