Here is my finished Beltane embroidery. I’m so happy with how it turned out. It feels very spring like to me. With the hawthorn and apple blossoms. Not to scale of course. I quite like that it’s not to scale, it makes it kind of surreal. :-)
And I absolutely love-love-love how the fritillary flowers turned out! It was really fiddly but definitely worth it. I don’t think the photo properly conveys the 3D effect of the stitching but it is there and it really adds something to the whole thing.
I love when a plan comes together. And then exceeds my expectations! :-D
