Happy Samhain!

Well, slightly late Samhain greetings. We came back from Denmark at just after 1 AM on Wednesday so once we had unpacked (after sleeping late) and picked Blake up from the dog sitter, there was no energy left to write a blog post. :-D

Samhain marks the last of the eight festivals in the Wheel of The Year project/stitchalong. I am both excited to have finished the project, and a little wistful to have finished the project. I think I have mentioned before how much I have enjoyed it and it is a bit sad that it is over.

I will share the finished embroidery soon. I just have to decide if I want to add anything else to it, like a border or a central motif. I can’t quite decide if I want to keep it simple or if it needs something else…

If you want to stitch the Wheel of The Year too, you can definitely still do that! And now is the perfect time to start since Samhain marks the new year in the Wheel.

And just FYI: after November 30th the price of the pattern will go up. Buy the Wheel of The Year here.
