Bye 2015. Hello 2016.

Best Nine 2015
Happy New Year!

It’s time to get back to work! After using my computer very little while working on the book embroideries and taking it very easy in December, I’m finding myself out of the habit of using it. So weird. There have been times in the past few years where I was on it for hours and hours every day. I guess it’s both good and bad not to be using it a lot…

So, yes, back to work. Whether that’s on the computer or working in my sketchbook or stitching things. I want to create new stuff and I have lots of ideas.

Although, Tony’s had a cold since New Year’s and now I’m feeling like it’s going to hit me too. Sod’s law, huh!

I’m not going to do a review of 2015 because it can basically be summed up like this: we got a dog, I spent 6-7 months embroidering book stuff. Oh and my parents came over for a couple of visits. And I went to the Festival of Quilt (which I still haven’t blogged about properly!) That’s pretty much it. The #bestnine2015 collage at the top of the post sums up the year pretty well. Although I’m surprised there aren’t more photos of Blake. ;-)

Polar bear embroidery
This little polar bear guy is part of a big project I want to work on this year. And hopefully finish in the next few months. I’ll tell you a bit more about it soon. I’m very excited about it. Polar bears! :-)
