Flowers for My Face

I decided I needed some more face masks. Well, I needed some more masks with flowers! :-)

I am not even close to being ready to not wear masks in indoor settings (and some outdoor settings). The virus won’t go away or keep to a government roadmap for getting back to ‘normal’.

How do you feel about masks going forward? I think I’ll definitely continue to wear them on public transport. Longer term too. Especially in cold/flu season. It just makes sense!

A lot of people are giving up their masks entirely. Yesterday, I went to a drug store and there is a big sign on the door to wear masks, but as soon as I went inside, there was a family of four and none of them were wearing masks. I, like you, plan to wear mine for a long time when in public.

Thankfully, most people here wear their masks indoors, but I’m sure they will stop as soon as it’s legal. But I’ll keep wearing mine. It just makes sense… :-)

I agree with you! I’ll probably be wearing masks for the foreseeable future, especially during cold and flu season. Yours are so beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing!

Yes, I’ll be doing the same. Why wouldn’t you stop yourself from getting a cold/flu if there’s an easy way to do it? :-)

They’re so pretty! I feel the same, I may always wear masks on public transport from now on.

My feelings exactly! It feels like there will be enough of us still wearing masks that we’ll not be too peculiar or appear paranoid/ sickly.
A great many of the international students at the University have routinely worn masks when they themselves had a cold and it was often received with raised eyebrows and an unkind skepticism (let’s not delve too far into those motivations; we know what they may be), rather than the extremely public-spirited act it really is.
I hope that covid has opened at least some minds to masks as an everyday practice.

Yours are very pretty – do you recommend the pattern?

Yes, I hope that wearing a mask when you have a cold etc will be more normal now. And I think I’ll definitely keep wearing a mask on public transportation in peak flu/cold season.

I like this style of mask, yes. (I actually have a pattern for it: https://payhip.com/b/bhcU)

I have asthma and allergies and I LOVE wearing a mask! My symptoms have lessened so much and I will definitely keep wearing a mask. I love the fabrics that you used for your masks!

      Thank you!
Yes, I can imagine that a mask helps with the allergies etc. And all sort of things! I’m sure I read somewhere that this past winter the number of flu cases were really low compared to usual (obviously some of that is because everyone stayed home.) Masks are good.:-)
