I bought a cardigan recently, a plain black cardigan. The only decoration is…pockets! :-)
But it needed something else so I have been stitching this flower, inspired by Swedish påsöm embroidery, on the back. I’m happy with how it’s looking so far, but I can’t wait to dissolve the Sulky Sticky Fabri-Solvy that I printed the pattern onto. It’s kind of like developing a photo. :-)
Since I had the pattern all drawn on the computer anyway, I thought you might like it too. You can download it here. The pattern includes two sizes: 4.5″ wide (the size I am using) and a larger 6″ wide. There are also three smaller motifs included.
I think this pattern would also look super cute on a denim jacket. Alas, I do not own one of those…
