Happy Summer Solstice!
This is the beginning stitching of the motif in the Wheel of The Year embroidery (join the stitchalong here!)
I am loving how the whole thing is starting to come together. I think I may have mentioned that before? :-)
I am really happy that I decided to do another Wheel this year, it is so lovely to have this reminder to stop and notice the changing of the seasons. Really pay attention. When I make the tutorial videos for each motif, I include short clips of wildflowers or trees or whatever. So I have to be noticing those things to capture them which makes me pay more attention to nature. That can only be a good thing..?! :-)

Here is what the embroidery looks like so far. It makes me so happy. It is such a joy to play with colours and stitches and textures… :-)
