New Pattern: Rainbow Paisley Mandala

Close up view of an embroidery hoop with white fabric. On the fabric is embroidered a mandala inspired design with eight small paisley shapes each in a different colours in rainbow order.

I have finally finished this pattern! I am very happy about that. It has taken a lot longer than usual. I have to be careful about not doing too much embroidery because I have a pain in my right hand. It’s a bit annoying but doing too much hand stitching will only make it worse so I have to be patient and not over do it…

Anyway. The pattern is finished and I am so happy with the result. It is stitched using just eight variegated colours and the combination of them all is just so joyful. :-)

Buy the pattern here: Rainbow Paisley Mandala.

I made a little video about the pattern (and some trouble with a Frixion pen), check it out on YouTube.

The pattern is part of the Pattern Lab (at no extra cost to members!) I am excited about having another full pattern come out of the Lab! Although, to be honest, I had hoped this would have been the third full Lab pattern but alas that has not been possible for thumb-pain reasons. C’est la vie…

Here’s the full view of the pattern. Oh, those colours! Don’t they make you think of summer holidays and ice creams and parasols? I guess the pattern is (accidentally) perfectly timed… :-D

Yummy! Some of my favorite things – mandala, paisley, and great color play.
