Happy Lughnasadh!

Overhead view of an embroidery hoop with white fabric embroidered with round mandala inspired motifs in pink, yellow and green colours.

I don’t know if it just me or is this year zooming past at an alarming rate? It is already time for the next festival in the Celtic Wheel of The Year! Lughnasadh, or Lammas. The festival of grain harvest! Indulge in some lovely bread to celebrate. :-)

I am really excited to see the full embroidery start to take shape. Although, there are another three festivals yet to go this year. But it’s starting to look like…something. Not exactly the image I had in my head before we started. But better! I am very happy when that happens. Embroidery sometimes has a life of its own…

Join the Wheel of The year stitchalong here if you want some quiet, seasonal stitching in your life. :-)
